Part II of my NYFW journey was nothing but magical and inspiring. It's amazing to know these designer, like myself put so much time and care into each and every single piece they create. It's nothing short of magnificent. Design is an art that should not be taken for granted. This is surely motivation for me to keep going towards my dream.
ALON LIVNE S/S 2015
I was honored to watch Alon Livne S/S 2015 collection which was so inspiring. The details on each gown gave me motivation to put in more work in my own designs. The highlighted silver and black popped as grey and white flowed through each piece. With the use of vinyl, chiffon, and silk it in itself was effortless.
This was one of my favorites (look above). I love how the sleeves came at a three-quarter length and was bell shape adding to the simple silhouette of the look. Note: The nice rump on the model to the right. You go girl! Another piece I loved was the motorcycle jacket at the far right. The back alone was amazing, symmetrical colors of silver, white and black.
FRANCESCA LIBERATORE S/S 2015
This collection was raw yet modern. It had a native yet contemporary field to it. I adored how the models wore gladiator and flat string sandals with all the looks. Each distinct to one another. The show was field with printed blouses to long flowy tops, was nothing but effortless. Making me wish winter wasn't here and summer would come back again.
Mix of head to toe denim on one model and a tailored suit casual worn by this male adonace was fun to see. My favorite was the effortless look of the blouse worn by the very last model. I will say this being able to see these shows was nothing more than a blessing from my Lord and savior. He knew this was the next step I needed to push me in the direction of my dreams and I am truly grateful.

Inspirational Message of the Day
Remember that dreams don't work unless you do. If you don't go after what you want, you'll never have it. If you don't ask, the answer is always no. If you don't step forward, you're always in the same place.
